This eye-catching and bold work of Italian ceramic is of Mid-Century Modernist design.

The vibrant colours in the glaze palette are an excellent example of the 'Alla Moda' or, 'Fashionable' design movement that was highly popular during its time and collectable in the present day.

The form is simple but very much elevated by the glaze and tactile nature of the deeply incised grooves.

An excellent work of vivid design in great condition that is suitable for functional use.

• Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Most notable wear are the movement marks on the underside of the base that are commensurable with the age of the piece. Please refer to photographs as they form part of the condition report. The base bears the printed 'Italy' mark.
