Structured as a twin-handled vessel, the softly-exaggerated arches, curves and rounded corners echoes Modernist design influences in the design of the overall piece. The form is an excellent canvas for the handpainted glaze with its palette of an uncommonly simple combination of White, Turquoise, and Black delineations. However, the pattern is iconic in stylised symbolism which echoes the handpainted Sicilian carts that made the island of Sicily famous.

This stunning work is a rare find, from the palette and form to its condition. Stylistically timeless, this work brings a vibrant and Contemporary vibe to any room.
